COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The latest report from the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency shows that over 27,000 COVID-19 vaccinations have been administered in its three county jurisdiction.
According to information posted Thursday on the agency’s web site, there have been 8,785 vaccines distributed in Branch County with all but 1,091 of the vaccines being from Moderna.
Hillsdale County has had 8,799 vaccines administered while there have been 9,415 vaccines administered in St. Joseph County.
The latest update of the number of vaccines administered comes as the Health Agency reported on Wednesday there were no new cases of COVID-19 in Branch County while five were reported in Hillsdale County and two were reported in St. Joseph County.
Branch County has not been in double digits for daily new cases of COVID-19 since January 28 and a graph on the Health Agency’s web site shows how much the curve has flattened in the last month.
Between February 3 and Wednesday, Branch County has had 94 positive COVID-19 cases which is far down from the 442 cases reported between January 4 and February 3.
