COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man has been charged with maintaining a drug house in the 200 block of East Chicago and being in possession of a controlled substance.
45-year-old Buddy Dale Curry was arraigned on Saturday in Branch County District Court. A habitual offender second offense has also filed against Curry.
Bond has been set at $25,000. A probable cause hearing is set for March 18 with a preliminary exam on March 24.
According to court documents, Coldwater Police executed a search warrant at the residence last August.
During the search, numerous items suspected to be controlled substances were found by police as well as numerous used needles commonly used to inject drugs.
Documents also stated that the suspect appeared to be injecting drugs while he was hiding from police. Also present in the home were numerous other people who are known to have been involved in the use of illegal controlled substances.
Curry was arrested on a probation warrant.
