BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater bowling teams split with Pennfield on Wednesday at M-66 Bowl. The Coldwater boys took a close win 15 1/2 to 14 ½ while the Coldwater girls suffered their second loss of the season as they were beaten by Pennfield 17-13.
The Coldwater boys split the regular games, winning game one 940-880, losing game two 855-848, but they took totals 1788-1735. They also split the Baker games, winning game one 197-166, losing game two 193-131, and losing totals 359-328. Coldwater was led on the night by Dayten Yearling with games 221 and 237 for a 2 game total of 458, Austin Johnson chipped in with a 201 game.
The Coldwater girls lost the first game 846-731, winning game 2 749-743, but losing totals 1589-1480. They split the Baker games taking game one 207-155, losing game two 202-174, and taking totals 381-357. Coldwater was led by Rilee Cooper-Lewis with a 192 game and Freshman Ema Shidler with a 178 game.
The JV’s bowled 1 regular game each with the girls losing game one 625-532, and the boys winning game 2 717-496, taking totals 1249-1121. They took both Baker games with the girls winning game one 158-113, and the boys taking game two 133-114, taking totals 291-227. The girls were led by Lilly Cook with a 152 game and the boys were led by Andon Parshall with a 184.

Quincy’s bowling teams were swept by Napoleon at Suburban Lanes by scores of 27-3 in the boys match 23 1/2 to 6 1/2 in the girls match. Quincy’s Varsity Boys struggled out of the gate dropping both baker games. In game one of singles the lone point came from Dylan Bean [168]. Bean would score in game two with a 182. Caden Moore shot a 212 to add a digit to the Quincy score. The Quincy girls, down to four girls for the 2nd straight night, struggled in Baker play but pulled out Baker 2 to capture 4 points. In game one of singles Carlie McKinley would tie with a 131 for a half point and score again in game 2 with a 154. Daylin Fuller would add a point in game 2 with a 139.
