BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Hold onto your hats. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Thursday which will be in effect until 11:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
Forecasters say winds will be out of the northeast at 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
The strongest gusts are expected to take place between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m..
The gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if you are operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects so they don’t get blown around.
Rain is also in the forecast for Thursday with one to two inches of rain expected to fall south of the Indiana Toll Road.
