QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy’s girls softball team opened their season on Monday by sweeping Adrian Madison 5-1 and 17-8.
Morgan Michael was the winning pitcher in the opener as she tossed a three hitter and struck out 11.
Cemara Paul had the hot bat with a double and a triple.
Quincy freshman pitcher Payton Gross got the win in the nightcap as she struck out six in five innings of play.
McKenna Connin had three hits including a double and two RBI’s. McKenzie McCavit had a pair of singles.
