QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Village of Quincy is planning to bring back events in 2021 that had to be called off last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Quincy Village Council approved the village’s 2021-2022 budget on Tuesday night which includes funding for the Main Street Festival, the Sounds of Summer and Pints in the Park.
The Sounds of Summer is scheduled to start on June 24 with concerts every Thursday night in the Quincy Park.
The Main Street Festival is tentatively scheduled to be held on August 27 and 28 while Pints in the Park has been scheduled for September 25.
All of the events will be held with some capacity of COVID-19 strategies in place.
In other business during Tuesday’s meeting, the Village Council took no action on the proposed Branch County 911 tower site on Glenn Avenue after hearing objections from nearby residents and alternate sites will be explored.
