COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Matthew Waterbury has been honored by leadership at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital with the first ROSE award.
He has been an employee of the hospital since 1995 and was recognized for his dedication and behind the scenes work as groundskeeper.
The ROSE award originated in ProMedica’s Metro Toledo hospital and is presented quarterly with the thought of recognizing employees who are not nurses. ROSE stands for Recognizing Outstanding Service and Excellence.
Waterbury’s nominators said “Matt Waterbury is an unsung hero! Rain, snow or shine he is always present and smiling. Often times he is out in freezing temperatures removing snow, clearing pathways and throwing down salt for employees and patients. He rarely has to be asked to do something because he is always on top of it. He is jovial, funny and always positive; especially during the crazy times. Matt is always willing to help everyone and he takes pride in the work that does. He takes initiative to make Coldwater Regional Hospital look its best. ‘Thank you’ can never be said too loudly or too many times to a guy like Matt.”
