Nancy Lee Pierce, 72, of Coldwater, passed away at home on Sunday, March 28, 2021.
Cremation has already taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Nancy was born May 14, 1948 in Sturgis, MI to Howard and Delores (McMullin) Baker. On July 21, 1967, she married Larry Quimby and they had one son, Kenneth J. Quimby. Nancy was raised most of her life in Union City, where she got her start waiting tables at the City Restaurant. After she moved to Coldwater, she worked at the 105 Lounge for 15 years. On January 5, 1991, she married Neal Pierce in Coldwater. The couple started Double-N-Design, building decks, fences and docks, as well as other outdoor designs. Nancy loved working with people in many restaurants, in retail and in the business she and Neal owned.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth J. (Carla) Quimby and her grandchildren, Zachary and Rebecca, all of Coldwater. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Pierce, in 2013; and by her parents.
