COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Sunrise Rotary Promise Scholarship Program recently announced that Clemens Food Group had become a Keystone Corporate Partner with a donation of $25,000 to the program as part of the Corporate Public Match Challenge.
Clemens joins Southern Michigan Bank & Trust, Century Bank & Trust and ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital as Keystone Partners.
The Sunrise Promise Scholarship Program has challenged the general public to match the contributions from regional corporate leaders and to date almost $40,000 has been generated towards the $100,000 goal for the program.
The Sunrise Promise Scholarship Program was launched in 2018 with initial support from the Coldwater Township Sunrise Rotary Club and its Foundation.
In addition to the Keystone Corporate Partner’s support, Keystone contributions of $25,000 have been made by the George and Kathie Babcoke Trust and the Hal and Lillian Creal Fund. The Thomas Bott Donor Advised Fund became the first Cornerstone Partner with a contribution of $60,000 in 2020.
In partnership with the Kellogg Community College Foundation, the Sunrise Promise Scholarship Program has awarded scholarships of approximately $20,000 a year to over 40 KCC students enrolled in healthcare and industrial trade programs over the past two academic years.
