EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan High School Athletic Association crowned four girls basketball state champions Friday at the Breslin Center in East Lansing at the conclusion of a season that was condensed and, in some cases, interrupted due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
- Division 4: Fowler 54, Bellaire 20
- Division 1: Hudsonville 65, Detroit Renaissance 61
- Division 3: Grass Lake 52, Kent City 50
- Division 2: Portland 52, Newaygo 32
The MHSAA wraps up the 2021 boys basketball season today at the Breslin Center with four title games:
- Division 4: Wyoming Tri-unity Christian (14-2) vs Detroit Douglass (16-5), 10 a.m.
- Division 1: Ann Arbor Huron (20-0) vs Grand Blanc (14-2), 12:30 p.m.
- Division 3: Flint Beecher (15-1) vs Iron Mountain (19-0), 3 p.m.
- Division 2: Grand Rapids Catholic Central (19-0) vs Battle Creek Pennfield (21-2), 5:30 p.m.
WTVB will have live coverage of all four games, with coverage beginning 10 minutes before each game’s scheduled start time.
