BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – When Bronson Junior and Senior High School students return to the classroom from summer vacation in August, they will be greeted by new lockers.
The Bronson Community Schools Board of Education Monday night approved the purchase of the new lockers at a cost of about $110,000. The funds were already in this years budget.
Superintendent Steve Wilson says they plan to rip out the old lockers and put in the new ones while students are off on summer vacation.
The Board also approved the purchase of new cafeteria tables for the Junior and Senior High School to replace old ones that were over 20 years old.
The new lockers and cafeteria tables are part of the recent improvements that have been made to the building which was built in 1964. Among the recent improvements have been new bleachers in the gymnasium.
