CALIFORNIA TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A Camden man was injured early Friday morning when his vehicle collided with a horse in California Township.
The crash on Southern Road near Delmar Road was reported at about 5:00 a.m..
Michigan State Police say 65-year-old Randall Null complained of neck pain when rescue crews arrived. He was later transported to a local hospital.
It was also reported the man’s SUV ended up in a field after it struck the animal. The horse apparently got away from a nearby property. It did not survive.
Michigan State Police investigated the crash.
Firefighters from Fremont, Indiana and Life Care Ambulance were also sent to the scene.
