QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – As of now, Quincy High School is planning to have a Prom on May 29 at The Ponds in Coldwater as well a June 13 graduation.
High School Principal Amanda Webb reported to the Quincy School Board on Monday night that the prom will follow COVID-19 protocols.
Those who attend will be tested and regulations from the Community Health Agency on the wearing of masks will be followed. No prom dinner will be served.
Graduation is scheduled for Sunday, June 13 at 2:00 p.m. outside on the football field with each senior receiving four tickets.
In case of rain, the graduation will be held the following night at 6:00 p.m.. If graduation is needed to move inside that Monday, students will be allowed two ticket holders in attendance.
Webb says a post graduation parade will follow contingent on approval from the Village of Quincy. Both events will be contingent on the latest health regulations set by the Community Health Agency.
