JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater track teams defeated Jackson Northwest in an Interstate 8 dual meet on Tuesday.
The Cardinals won the girls meet 69-51 and the boys meet 90-62.
Winners for the Coldwater girls were Chloe Shaale in the 100 (13.4), Allison Miller in the 800 (2:37.34) and the High Jump (4’4), Anna Demeester in the 400 (1:05.34) and Shot Put (32’8), Avery Boyce in the Pole Vault as she set a new personal record by clearing eight feet, Sarah Forrister in the 300 Hurdles (1:00.9) and Legend Szafranski in the 1600 (6:13.24).
The team of Schaale, Kendyll Szafranski, Miller and Forrister won the 400 relay. (55.81)
Coldwater won 12 events in the boys meet. Cardinal winners were Gavin Budd in the 100 and 200, Gabe Wagoner in the 400, Antonio Potter in the 800 and 1600, Myron Lafty in the 3200, Jarron Herlan in the 300 hurdles, Kevin Hall in the shot put, Zach Diotte in the discus and Deandre Douglas in the pole vault and long jump.
Coldwater finished first in the 400 relay.
