OLIVET, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Orioles split a doubleheader at Olivet on Saturday as the Orioles won the opener 23-6 but lost the second game 7-1.
Cody Nuesbaum, Kyle Rodesiler and Kyler Economou all had five RBI’s in the first game. The Orioles had nine hits but were able to take advantage of 11 Olivet walks and other miscues.
Olivet used a five run third inning to win the second game.
The Orioles play at Mendon on Monday before hosting Jonesville on Tuesday.
Also in baseball on Saturday, Union City was swept in a doubleheader at Centreville by scores of 6-3 and 13-0.
