COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Southern Michigan Bank and Trust (SMB&T) has announced the promotion of three officers within Operations and Business eServices.
Angie Smith, First Vice President/Head of Operations, has announced the promotions of Maggie Usher to Vice President/Treasury and eService Operations Manager, and Lani Smith to Assistant Vice President/Operations Support Manager.
Usher began her banking career with Southern in July of 2011 as a Switchboard Operator. She joined Operations full time in 2012 with her focus in Treasury Management. Along with her accomplishments within the bank, she has received her Accredited ACH Professional certification, and the Accredited Payments Risk Professional certification. Usher also serves as Co-chair for the AAP/APRP Alliance.
Smith joined Southern in January 2016 in the Contact Center. In September of that year, she transitioned to both Card Services and Treasury Management to provide additional support for each area. Smith was promoted to Contact Center Supervisor in March 2017.
Additionally, SMB&T Vice President/Business eServices Manager Laurel Walkup announced the promotion of Deanna Manville to Assistant Vice President/Business eServices Officer.
Manville began working at SMB&T in 2017 as a Business eServices Advisor. She will continue to provide electronic solutions to existing and future Business eServices customers in all regions.
