QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy American Legion “Sherman, Rice, Demorest Post 157” installed its new officers during a ceremony on Wednesday.
The new officers of the Quincy American Legion “Sherman, Rice, Demorest Post 157” are Commander Nick Loomis, Adjutant Brad Hickock, Finance Rod Force, Service Officer Tom Lothamer, Chaplain Don Michael, Sergeant at Arms Randy Hawkes and Historian Jeff Duvendack
Also in attendance were representatives from the American Legion Auxiliary, the Sons of the American Legion and the American Legion Riders.
Branch County Third District Post 196 Commander Ralph Gottschalk swore in the incoming officers during a short ceremony prior to the monthly meeting.
The American Legion was created in 1919. It has nearly two million members which makes the Legion the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization.
