BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Friday’s inclement weather cancelled the entire baseball and softball schedule for Branch County teams.
Coldwater’s baseball team was scheduled to play at Marshall in the conclusion of a suspended game from April 19.
The game was stopped because of darkness nearly six weeks ago with the score tied 6-6 after four innings.
If the game is resumed and Coldwater wins, they will get a share of the Interstate 8 title.
As of Friday, the game remains suspended and a new date has not been scheduled yet.
Also washed away because of the rain was the baseball game between Quincy and Union City as well as the Bronson baseball and girls softball games at Centreville.
