COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School Interact Club was able to raise over $2,200 to help provide clean drinking water to those in need as part of their international outreach program this year.
Club Advisor Sarah Davis says students and staff donated throughout the week to make this possible.
She says club members decided to join forces to provide clean water to those in need in Yemen and that there was a direct link to many of the families of their students who live in that country.
In another project, the Interact Club partnered with the Sunrise Rotary to become Ambassadors for their Rotary Promise scholarship program and were able to raise nearly $1,100.
