COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Intermediate School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Aaron Cummings Wednesday as the district’s new Technology Coordinator.
He will take over for Mark Knaack, who is retiring after serving as the BISD Technology Director since May 1997. Knaack also served as the Industrial Electronics Program Manager at the Branch Area Careers Center between 1991 and 2000.
Cummings is being promoted after working in technical support for the BISD since November 1997.
He earned an associates degree in Computer Engineering Technology from Kellogg Community College in 2000.
Knaack said Cummings was a one time On The Job training student who has managed to work his way up.
