COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker says in his report for Monday’s City Council meeting that work on the Michigan Department of Transportation project on U.S. 12 between Western Avenue to Michigan Avenue is now scheduled to begin the second week of July.
Baker says there will be a number of lane closures for sanitary sewer repairs prior to the milling and paving of over two miles of U.S. 12 so drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the construction zone.
A major Michigan Department of Transportation road construction project in the City of Coldwater has been pushed back until after the Fourth of July.
According to the city’s web site, the work on the $1.4 million project is scheduled to be finished by August 31.
