BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Weather permitting, a major M.D.O.T. resurfacing project in the City of Coldwater is scheduled to start on Monday.

M.D.O.T. spokesman Nick Schirripa says a portion of U.S. 12 has to be totally shut down as crews will be digging up a sanitary sewer line.
Besides the resurfacing, the project will includes sanitary sewer repairs, sidewalk ramp upgrades and pavement markings.
The road construction project between Western and Michigan Avenues is scheduled to be completed by September 10.
Drivers are reminded there are other ongoing road construction projects in Coldwater. Western Avenue and State Street from Grand Street to Bishop Avenue is closed until the end of August for resurfacing.
Sauk River Drive remains closed between South Sprague and South Willowbrook Road as road widening is following the installation of a larger water main.
