COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man is back behind bars, after being busted on multiple drug charges while out on bond for a previous drug arrest earlier this year.
The latest charges against 59-year-old Paul Kevin Dirschell include methamphetamine possession and delivery, possession of crack cocaine, resisting police, and probation violation.
Dirschell was arrested and charged in May 2021 in connection with an undercover drug investigation by the Southwest Enforcement Team. At that time he was charged with two counts of delivering methamphetamine and two counts of being in possession of a controlled substance.
With Dirschell’s criminal record that goes back to 1979, prosecutors in May also filed an habitual offender sentencing enhancer if Dirschell is convicted.
He was out on bond prior to his arrest this week, and was booked last night at the Branch County Jail, awaiting arraignment today.
