COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – While the search continues for a new Branch County 911 Director, the field has been narrowed down to five candidates.
Branch County Administrator Bud Norman told the county’s 911 Communications Board Wednesday that background and reference checks are being done on the five. A total of 29 candidates submitted their names before the deadline.
Long time Branch County 9-1-1 Director Kurt Spalding retired at the end of September 2020.
Spalding has served Branch County for over 35 years.
