BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Kevin Kolassa and Janet Sikorski were named the King and Queen of the 51st Bronson Polish Festival during the opening ceremonies at the St. Mary School gymnasium. Seth Withington and Caitlyn Hagen were recognized as festival Prince and Princess, while Junior Prince and Princess honors went to Heath Ratkowski and Monica Arver.
The ceremony marked the return of one of the biggest summer events in Branch County following a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the schedule for Friday:
- Kids Day activities at Douglas Park from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- The start of the men’s softball tournament at 6 p.m. at Greenwald Park
- A chip-timed 5K run/walk starting from the Bronson High School tennis courts at 7:30 p.m., with registration at 7 p.m.
- Fireworks at Bronson High School starting at dusk
