MONTGOMERY, MI (WTVB) – The Vietnam Memorial “Moving Wall” is now on display at the Montgomery American Legion Post.
It received a huge escort of motorcyclists along with police, fire and emergency vehicles as it went through Branch County on Thursday afternoon.
The wall honors those who gave the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War. It will be on display through early next week in Montgomery and can be viewed around the clock.
Volunteers will be on site at the Montgomery American Legion at 964 East McCallum Street throughout the period.
“The Moving Wall” is the half-size replica of the Washington, DC Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
Two structures of “The Moving Wall” travel throughout the country from April through November, spending about a week at each site.
