BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – It was a busy Friday night for the Michigan State Police in Branch County as they had to investigate two injury crashes on I-69 which took place within an hour of each other.
The first happened about a mile north of the Indiana state line just after 6:00 p.m..
State Police say a woman in her mid 30s from Muncie, Indiana was traveling south when she had an unknown medical issue. Her vehicle went off the road and traveled through the median before going across the northbound side and crashing.
She was taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center for trestment.
The second involving a pair of motorcycles was reported on northbound I-69 near Dorrance Road at about 6:45 p.m.. Scanner traffic indicated one of the motorcyclists suffered a leg injury.
