COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – 11 year 4-H member Abigail Lehman of Coldwater was crowned as the 2021 Branch County Fair Queen on Sunday night at the Dearth Community Center.
Lehman is the daughter of Jeffrey and Marlene Lehman.
She is a member of the Up and At Em 4-H Club as well as the 4-H Shooting Sports Club.
Lehman has also been a Capitol Youth Experience Leader and a State Fair Youth Leader.
She plans to attend Kellogg Community College and Trine University. Her future goal is to attend medical school.
In addition to being named Queen, Lehman will receive a $500 scholarship. The remaining court members will each received a $250 scholarship which has been made possible by donations from International Veneer, Counterman Farms, Moroa Farms and the Branch County Fair.
The members of this years court are Alexandria Lehman, Alyssa Milliman, Breanne Reif, Carleigh Crouch, Reilly Renkes and Hayley Wineland.
Monday will be Dollar Day at the Branch County Fair with the rides scheduled to open at 2:00 p.m..
The schedule includes the start of the junior baseball tournament as well as the sheep showmanship. The amphitheater show on Monday night will feature street legal pickups and semi pulls.
