COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A 100th anniversary celebration for the Coldwater Noon Rotary Club drew almost 500 people and raised an estimated $45,000 to be put back into Community projects.
Because the annual Rotary Show able to be held this past February at the Tibbits Opera House, a street party outside the theatre with music, food, and drinks was planned. The event from 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. was also the first event for the downtown’s new Social District designation.
Videos of past Rotary shows were also shown inside the Tibbits Opera House.
While admission to the event downtown Saturday was free, sponsorships and program advertisement revenue generated the $45,000 that Rotarians will give back to local community groups and projects.
Awesome. We need more of these in that lot and a cross the street behind the storefronts there. Big and small, we need them all!
