COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Safety improvements are planned for the Tibbits Opera House in Coldwater next year.
Tibbits Development Director Andy French recently detailed the plans as he spoke to the Coldwater Township Sunrise Rotary Club.
According to French, he has applied for a $120,000 infrastructure improvement matching grant expected to be awarded in November by the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs.
French told Rotarians what the improvements will focus on.
The Arts Council grant approved in 2020 was used to improve the technology for the sound and lighting system boards in the theater.
