COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU) will be performing emergency fiber maintenance during the overnight hours.
Crews will start Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 12:00 a.m. (midnight). They are expected to be completed by Wednesday morning at 6:00 a.m..
According to a statement posted on the CBPU’s Facebook page, repairs are being made to fix storm damage that occurred to the old Fiber backbone.
The emergency maintenance will take place at the intersection of Grand and Taylor in the City of Coldwater and is only expected to impact portions of the HFC plant and portions of the internal CBPU network. The CBPU says all network maintenance is carefully planned and executed to minimize customer impact.
