COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Director Jeff Budd announced his resignation in a letter that was read by City Attorney Megan Angell during Monday night’s Coldwater City Council meeting.
Budd’s resignation puts a cap on a 23-year career with the city and utility.
His resignation letter mentioned all of the accomplishments made by the city and the Coldwater B.P.U..
Budd’s final day was not announced and his next professional destination was not immediately disclosed.
Budd indicated that he and his family would be staying in Coldwater.
Coldwater Mayor Tom Kramer thanked Budd for his years of service.
Before being named CBPU Director in October of 2017, he served as City Manager for seven years and as the City Finance Manager.
