Linda Jean Jones, 76, of Bellevue and formerly of Coldwater, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Laurels of Bedford.
In following her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place at Nottawa Cemetery at a later date.
The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Linda was born November 24, 1944 to William and Zelda (Scriber) Moffett in Rockford, IL. She was a high school graduate and very artistic woman. Linda co-owned JoAl’s Clothing Store in Coldwater for five years. She was a talented painter and repurposed many items into decorations for home use.
She was a woman of faith, most recently attending Bellevue First Baptist Church with her daughter. Linda’s true joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She tried to never miss one of their events.
Linda also was a care giver for her parents for many years. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Linda is survived by her daughters Dawn Haas of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Amber (Jeff) Waterbury of Bellevue; her sister-in-law Sharon Moffett of Coldwater; her grandchildren Brandon & Tyler Waterbury, Jeremie Brown, Brittnee & Aubbree Haas; her great grandchildren Logan, Justice, and Jasmine Brown; and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother William Moffett.
