COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Fundraisers and donations have allowed for additional exhibits and improvements at the Children’s Museum of Branch County in
Coldwater.
New attractions at the museum located at the Fairfield Plaza include the recently installed River Rock climbing wall. Kayla Gray, is the president of the Board of Directors of the CMBC and spoke at a meeting earlier this month of the Coldwater Noon Rotary Club.
She told the Rotarians that the museum is a place where children explore, learn, and grow by engaging in interactive play with those who care about them.
This summer, an annual online fundraiser brought in nearly $10,000. Also, a Branch County Community Foundation Youth Advisory Committee grant of
$6,500 was awarded to the museum and the Branch County Women Who Care designated the CMBC for its monthly donation of up to $10,000.
The museum, now in its eighth year, is open Wednesday through Saturday. Admission is $5.00 per child and $3.00 for Bridge cardholders.
