BUTLER TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Crews hired by the Branch County Road Commission are scheduled to begin preliminary work on Friday on a paving project along a portion of Jonesville Road.
Repaving work will start at the Hillsdale County line and head west to Marshall Road before heading north to the Calhoun County line.
There will be no road closings during the work but drivers should be alert for traffic being reduced to one lane.
The work will be similar to the paving project that is currently underway on M-86 in Branch County.
The project is scheduled to conclude by September 15 and is considered to be the last big project of what has been a very busy construction season in Branch County.
