Heidi L. Rawson, 68, of Angola and formerly of Quincy, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021.
A celebration of life for Heidi Rawson will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
She was born Sept. 2, 1953, in Coldwater to Merl and Dolores (Tompkins) Rawson.
Heidi graduated from Quincy High School, Class of 1971. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Communications from Western Michigan University. Heidi was a librarian at Western Michigan University and retired from the Branch County Library. She was very crafty and loved knitting clothing for her family members. She was a member of the Branch County 4-H, Quincy United Methodist Church and was a supporter of the Branch County Democratic Party.
Survivors include her two sons, Brian Rawson-Ketchum of Battle Creek and Adam (Kathy) Rawson-Ketchum of Angola; mother, Dolores Rawson of Coldwater; grandchildren, Raylee and Maggie; and sisters, Melanie (Steve) Nelson of Quincy and Vanessa (Richard) Larson of Crestwood, KY.
She was preceded in death by her father, Merl Rawson; sisters, Connie Crew; and brother, Edward Rawson.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Quincy United Methodist Church or the Branch District Library.
