BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings went 2-2 at the Battle Creek Lakeview Girls Volleyball Invite on Saturday.
The Vikings beat Thornapple Kellogg 25-16, 25-11 and Plainwell 25-20, 25-19 but lost to Lakeview 17-25, 22-25.
Bronson qualified for the Gold Bracket and lost in the quarterfinals to Portage Northern 23-25, 25-20, 3-15
Bronson Coach Jean LaClair said, “We played some of our best volleyball to end the day on Saturday, and that is something to look forward to! We travel to Concord on Tuesday for Big 8 play. We look forward to some days in the gym to continue to grow our game. Our freshman continue to grow with every outing, and Brealyn is able to run a pretty diverse offense when we pass well enough!”
