COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The local organization Branch Pride will host the county’s first ever Pride Festival this Saturday, September 18 at Parkhurst Park in Coldwater.
Organizers say this will be a family friendly event that will have live entertainment, games with prizes, guest speakers, food, vendors, and more from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m..
The first 500 attendees will receive a free goodie bag.
The Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence has joined with Branch Pride as a partner for the event.
Branch Pride says they strive to foster ongoing community outreach and educational programs, social events and partnering activities with other organizations to make Branch County a more affirming, inclusive and safe place for all.
Their mission is “to empower those we serve by supporting, educating, and celebrating our LGBTQ+ and associated communities.”
