MENDON, MI (WTVB) – The Union City boys cross country team finished fifth at the Mendon Invitational on Saturday.
Jason Shoop led the Chargers with a 16th place finish in a time of 20:05.9. Maddox Miller was 20th while Malachi Payne was 22nd and Hunter Sinke was 30th.
The Chargers did not have enough runners for a team score in the girls meet.
Skyler Fraley led the Union City girls as she was 16th in a time of 25:02.13. Amelia June was 29th.
