BUTLER TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A fire which broke out just before 12:00 noon on Monday destroyed a barn in Butler Township.
The blaze at 1164 Litchfield Road was reported at 11:47 a.m..
Litchfield Fire Chief Scott Skelly told the Hillsdale Daily News one of the homeowners received minor burns when he tried to put the fire out.
Quincy, Allen and Jonesville firefighters were called in for assistance.
LifeCare Ambulance and the Branch County Sheriff’s Office were also dispatched.
Firefighters were at the scene for almost three hours.
