ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – Steuben County Prosecutors have filed three additional charges against a man who is accused of murdering his former Lake James neighbor.
According to State of Indiana on line court documents, 29-year-old Matthew Roland Hoover of Anderson, Indiana is now facing counts of rape while armed with a deadly weapon, burglary while armed with a deadly weapon and abuse of a corpse.
Hoover was arrested in early August and charged with the stabbing death of 82 year old Wilma Ball. Her body was found June 23rd in her home on 200 East in rural Pleasant Township.
An initial hearing on the new charges has been scheduled for Monday afternoon.
A five day jury trial for Hoover is scheduled to start on November 29.
