COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners brought forward a request during their Wednesday work session to move the 911 Supervisor and the Payroll Supervisor positions to non-union management positions.
Administrator Bud Norman presented a supervisory chart as he requested that the current supervisor positions be changed to manager positions.
Norman said moving the payroll supervisor to non-union will prevent possible conflict of interests in the future.
Norman and Commissioner Jon Houtz both stated that the plan has been approved by the Branch County 9-1-1 Board.
Formal action is scheduled to take place during the Commissioners regular meeting next Thursday afternoon.
