COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – One of the Coldwater Solar grants that were awarded this week went to the Coldwater High School Interact Club which will assist them in establishing a vegetable garden.
Club members will tend the garden during the spring and summer months. Produce grown will then be provided to a local food pantry.
CHS Interact Sergeant of Arms Allison Miller says the club will put the vegetable garden in along the perimeter of the school courtyard.
The money will go directly into resources that will allow the club to maintain the garden for many years to come and in an efficient manner.
