COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – There will be a new head coach for the Coldwater High School wrestling program when practice begins in November.
With Jake Lenhardt stepping down, the Coldwater Community School Board of Education approved the hiring of D.J. Herlan on Monday night.
Coldwater High School Athletic Director Todd Farmer says Herlan has been a middle school wrestling coach as well as a volunteer assistant with the high school program.
Lenhardt had been the varsity wrestling coach at Coldwater High School for the last 10 years. He and his wife Katy operate A Grand Occasion which is a party supply and rental shop in Coldwater.
