COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Doug’s Auto Recyclers at 352 South Angola Road says on their Facebook page that their 16,000th vehicle to be processed rolled into our facility on Thursday.
To give you an idea of what that means, since the family-owned business opened in 1981, they have recovered about 32,000 gallons of oil, recycled 9,000 pounds of Freon, kept 48,000 tires out of landfills, recycled 40,000,000 tons of metal into new products, safely recycled 160,000 or more gallons of fuel and removed 16,000 disabled vehicles from the surrounding area.
Doug’s says they have saved their customers thousands of dollars since they don’t have to purchase brand new parts.
