PARMA, MI (WTVB) – The Legg Middle School seventh grade volleyball teams swept Parma Western on Thursday night.
The A team won 25-12 15-25 15-8. On the night Coldwater was lead at the service line by Juliana Cowles 11-11 with 2 aces followed by Brooklyn Closson 11-12 with 8 aces, Katie Senyk 7-8 with 3 aces, Khloe Wohlgamuth 7-9 1 ace, T.K. Boyd 4-6 with 2 aces & Aubrey Gebbink 3-5 with 1 ace. In the backrow Closson had 6 digs followed by Senyk, Cowles & Gebbink with 4 digs, Boyd & Wohlgamuth 3 digs each, Khloe Tyler, Suri Stout & Isabella Angevine had 2 digs each.
The B team won 25-18, 15-25, 15-8. Leading the Legg scoring was Ella Thompson 11/13 with 2aces, Kinley Cummings 10/10 2 aces and two digs, Savannah Hayward 7/10 2 aces, 1 dig, Marie Powers 5/7, 2aces, 2 kills, Aivry Chavez 1/3 1 dig and Annika Johnson with 2 digs.
