Mione Hope Monroe, 68, of Bronson, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Terry Siler from the First Congregational Church officiating. Interment will follow at Matteson Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
Mione was born October 28, 1952 in Sturgis, MI to Donald & Marcella (Keith) Krontz. She married Lawrence J. Monroe on November 12, 1977 in Sturgis, MI.
Mrs. Monroe worked for Kirsch in Sturgis and Douglas Autotech in Bronson but first and foremost she was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. Mione enjoyed crocheting, cooking and going to yard sales but her greatest joy came from her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mione is survived by her husband Lawrence, her children Travis Harvey of Union City, Cindy (Billy) Wolfinger of Union City, Amy (Jason) Albarran of Sturgis, Corey Monroe of Bronson, her brothers Donald (Suzanne) Krontz of Union City, Jim (Rusty) Earley of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandchildren Paije, Chase, Austin, Dakota, Mia and Ava and her great grandchildren Rhett and Lane.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Terry Earley, Victor Krontz and her infant sister Carolyn Sue. www.dutcherfh.com.
