COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The 2nd annual Hoptoberfest is set to take place on South Monroe Street in downtown Coldwater this Saturday, October 9 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m..
The event pays tribute to Coldwater’s German heritage with Sister City Soltau, Germany.
Hoptoberfest is for ages 21 and older and will feature a variety of seasonal beers from Two Bandits Brewing, Ramshackle Brewing, and Territorial Brewing Company.
In a salute to the sister city, German fare will be served by J&J’s Delicious Dogs and NPC Kettle Corn.
In addition, there will be a traditional German band and a German dance group.
The cost of this year’s Hoptoberfest is $5 upon entry and there is no rain date scheduled, should the event be canceled due to inclement weather.
Hoptoberfest serves as an encore to downtown Coldwater’s Hops on Monroe. Sponsors for this year’s event include the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities and Planet Powersports.
