CONCORD, MI (WTVB) – Concord won the boys meet by 11 points over Bronson while Jonesville edged Quincy by four points to win the girls meet at Tuesday’s Big 8 Conference Jamboree hosted by Concord.
Quincy’s Rhett Reif was second in the boys race in a time of 17:10. Bronson had three runners in the top ten as Ashton Wells was fifth in 17:41.1, Aden Hathaway was seventh and Reagan Mayer was eighth. Union City was eighth in the team standings. The top finisher for the Chargers was Maddox Miller who was 19th.
Bronson’s Sidney Swick won the girls race in a time of 22:21.4.
Union City finished third in the team standings. They were led by Skyler Fraley who was third in 23:03.9. Kyla Burdick was 12th.
Quincy had two runners in the top ten as Charlotte Crabbs (23:11.3) was fourth and Sadie Miller (23:33.9) was sixth. Kailey Allman was 11th.
