Daniel Jay Jaspers Sr., 68, of Litchfield, passed away, Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
A private family graveside service will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery with Pastor Dyrrick Cyphers officiating.
He was born on November 21, 1952 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Henry Jaspers and Ollie Fisher.
Daniel attended Reading High School. He was employed at American Axle in Litchfield until he retired in 2019. Daniel enjoyed tinkering in his garage, inventing things to make his life easier. In his earlier years, Daniel enjoyed riding his Goldwing, dancing and playing his guitar. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, taking them on rides on the golf cart and his scooter.
Daniel is survived by one son, Trever (Erica) Jaspers of Sylvania, Ohio; significant other, Carolyn Adams; one sister; two brothers; three grandchildren, Alissa (Luke) Walker, Zachary Jaspers, Jayna Jaspers and two great-grandchildren, Gideon and Clay Walker.
In addition to his parents, Daniel is preceded in death by one son, Daniel “Tater” Jay Jaspers Jr. and one brother.
